This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Lucitra Validate and related services (the "Services"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Lucitra, Inc. ("Lucitra") reserves the right to update this AUP at any time.
1. Permitted Uses
The Services are designed for validating synthetic training data used in robotics, autonomous systems, computer vision, and related applications. Permitted uses include:
- Validating synthetic datasets generated from simulation tools for the purpose of improving model training
- Integrating validation into CI/CD pipelines to gate dataset quality
- Generating compliance reports for internal quality assurance processes
- Benchmarking dataset quality across simulation configurations
- Academic research and educational use
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Services for any of the following purposes:
- Weapons systems: Developing, training, or validating models for autonomous weapons, weapons targeting systems, or other lethal autonomous systems
- Mass surveillance: Training surveillance systems designed for mass monitoring of individuals without consent, including facial recognition systems deployed for population-scale surveillance
- Deceptive content: Generating or validating synthetic data intended to produce deepfakes, disinformation, or deceptive media
- Illegal activity: Any use that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Reverse engineering: Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract Lucitra's proprietary validation models or algorithms
- Service disruption: Deliberately overloading, disrupting, or degrading the Services, including denial-of-service attacks
- Credential abuse: Sharing API keys or account credentials with unauthorized parties, or using credentials obtained through unauthorized means
3. Rate Limits & Fair Use
API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. In addition to per-tier limits:
- Automated scripts must include reasonable backoff and retry logic
- Concurrent requests should not exceed 10 per API key unless otherwise agreed
- Dataset uploads are limited to 10 GB per file on the Free tier
- Lucitra reserves the right to throttle or suspend access that generates load disproportionate to legitimate validation use
4. Export Control
The Services are subject to US export control laws and regulations. You may not use the Services if you are located in, or are a national or resident of, any country subject to comprehensive US sanctions (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine). You are responsible for compliance with all applicable export control and sanctions laws.
5. Abuse Reporting
If you become aware of any use of the Services that violates this AUP, please report it to abuse@lucitra.ai. We investigate all reports and will take appropriate action, which may include warning the user, suspending access, or terminating the account.
6. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Written warning with a specified remediation period
- Temporary suspension of API access
- Permanent termination of your account
- Reporting to appropriate law enforcement authorities where required
Lucitra will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Services or other users.
